Sometimes. Just Sometimes . . .
WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita Police were called to a reported robbery Thursday in the 10000 block of East 21st St. North around 6:15 p.m.
A 23-year-old man working security at the business told police that he was attempting to apprehend an unknown man for shoplifting when a struggle ensued.
During the struggle, the suspect’s coat — containing his wallet — came off and the suspect fled on foot. A short time later the suspect returned and pointed a handgun at the man and demanded his coat. The coat was returned to the suspect and he fled in an unknown vehicle.
The suspect was later located in the 1500 block of E. MacArthur. He was booked for aggravated robbery and theft.
Other events remain passive and quiet.
Dog, on leash, and I were minding oour own business when near neighbor pulled up on his lawn mower. Dog went ballistic. It was a near thing. Dog hit the end of the lead about three feet from near neighbors face.
Damned near tore my arm off.
I think Dog hates near neighbor and his dark of the night peeking in windows. Dog knows right from wrong. Pity near neighbor isn’t as intelligent.
