Confusion, obstacles raise voting concerns in some states, including Kansas

ATLANTA — More than a dozen states have enacted tougher requirements for registering and voting since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a key provision of the Voting Rights Act three years ago. That has led to confusion and claims that certain …

Ever wonder what would happen if the States gave the courts the finger and proceeded with voter ID? Probably would upset the whole system.

Speaking of which; what would happen if the State refused to condone the 2-party political system and opened it up to any group of five thousand or so true believers to register a political party?

Seg: The Renter opted not to buy the bull whose price doubled. He bought a bull from his uncles herd.

Personally I’d probably have kept the bull Renter sold and taken a chance on the cows backs. I need to bring some pictures of Renters small select herd and post them. It is an impressive group of cows and calves.

Tjat is just as soon as I can figure out how to make my computer accept photos from my camera. Weird things have been happening since windows foisted 360 on me. And after I rejected Windows 10 – which wouldn’t really handle pictures.

The 360 came alone when I tried to buy Office and afer I told them I didn’t want it.

Life.

Learn from it.

The problem, of course, with the computer programs is that there is a no return policy implicit in any of it.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
