It dawned coming on cloudy, did cloudy during calf feeding, started raining during ,breakfast and has continued raining off and on since.

We will be facing another mill levee increase this years end. We had one last year. And the year before.
I note, with some evil satisfaction, that two teachers lost their contracts and took a school district to court. I also noted that in spite of claiming tenure, the teachers lost the case. They were not awarded any back pay, a new contract or anything but good-bye’s.
I’m not entirely certain what they didn’t do that lost them the contract, but ore power to that school board. Much more power. The teachers Union also supported the teachers.
The Labor Day committee selected a couple, celebrating 50 years wedded as Grand Marshals of the twelve minute parade we put together each year.
Speaking of which, a local pilot in the habit of landing on the cemetery road and taxing to the Co-Op fuel pumps to fill up is thinking of taxing the plane in the parade this year.
I just might stir myself to go this year.
