Follow-up for yesterdays post:
Now all they have to do is procrastinate for a while, charge the government for over time and then start the new legislative session a bit early. Then complain that they worked year round and should do that all the time – with a pay increase, of course.
I trust government, you see.
Speaking thereof; I caught a segment of the Frump speaking with ABC (an old clip, I think, that I’d not heard before). The question concerned guns – a favorite thingy the Frump loves to play with.
Stephanopolois read the appropriate words concerning guns (Second Amendment) and asked her what her intentions were toward it as it was in the constitution.
The Frump responded that if it was in the Constitution, then it was subject to government regulation.
Under those words lie your Constitutional Rights:
- Pursuit of happiness
And the right to keep and bear arms, the right to privacy, the right to haibius corpus, the right to keep safe ones home from occupation, the right privacy of papers, and several others.
All of which, according to the Frump, may be modified to suit government through regulation. By extension: taken away.
