Ruddy year is half gone.

Although, I will admit that the sun is shining and the heat is building.

I came across this article, which I will concede surprised me – especially since the source I’ve come to consider as an enemy. Well, if not an active enemy, one that isn’t regulation free.

Ecologists advise an increase in prescribed grassland burning to maintain ecosystem, livelihood

That last statement, looking at it, is part of the problem we’ve experience with out government, is it not?

We know it isn’t the law, but our regulation tell us you can not do whatever you’re doing in the’ manner you are doing it. Stop it.

Or?

Or you’ll get fined, a trial, jail time or severely harassed for all your days – at least until you do it our way. How’s that?

Umph.

I think that’s my rant for the day and I’ll shut up now.

I note that FNC is still allowing their reporters to chastise Trump for saying McCain isn’t a war hero. The bitch I have with them there is they are not using their researchers to fact check their own archives to find the segment they have of McCain admitting he was broken by a Vietnamese Interrogator and that he stayed, voluntarily, to be around his master.

So, to be fair and balanced, FNC really oughta find that interview and give it to Trump or Meagan Kelly for information purposes. Kelly might be of kinder mind and take her own advice to Trump – don’t be so thin skinned.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
