It happened early Saturday around 7:15 a.m in the 900 block of North Market. A person called 911 to report a woman was unresponsive.
Medical crews and officers arrived and found that the 50-year-old woman died. Later, investigators determined that an unknown woman stole the dead woman’s purse from security video. The woman left walking southbound on Market.
In my real life, I thought I’d filed my taxes in Mar. I found I hadn’t. I found the envelope under the camera I’m using as a paper weight. So good old me is mailing a day late. Fortunately they owe me this year, so never mind.
Still, late is late and that grump’s me.
The hunt was for my vehicle registration – those silly little decals. Mine was due to be on my truck at the end of the month and I coouldn’t find the sucker. I did, finally, after finding the taxes. I found the decal in the truck, it had slipped between the seats.
So, bad news turned good and all ends well.
Yes. Yes. My wallet is with the truck keys . . . over there.
