The day after the GREAT debate without Trump.
The sun came up. The Pundits say that Trump: is still number one; and he hurt his chances in Iowa.
I have noticed that the FNC announcers use words that cast negative shadows on Trump – by saying things like Trump throws his scuds at opponents; and that Trumps opponents cast Cruz Missiles at Trump.
So much for fair and balanced; and so much for dispassionate reporting. Way back, to I don’t remember when, the term used by politicians was Fourth Estate.
If one wished to be President one must satisfy the Military, the Government Workers, the Voters and the Press.
Way back when is now and things haven’t changed.
What has changed is the way of life out in the grass lands and the cities. Here’s one that hasn’’t changed foor the best:

I’m not sure if closing the borders will change the headlines much. Most of the trafficing seems to be in the young. The very young, and if the kids can be disappeared there isn’t a real clue as to where these kids can be going.
On my local scene; the County Commissioners are discussing pay raises for the Sheriff and deputies, The theater that has been closed for twenty years is looking to re-open, and Kansas is considering re-opening Horse races (actually the word used was RACING).
We had a thriving business in Greyhound racing until the do-gooders discovered the crematoriums were a standard part of a dog track and that the dogs that lost a race were co-signed to there, immediately.
You’ll notice two things: I’m a dog lover and I didn’t express an opinion.
