Two women say men tried to rob them at gun point

These types of cases seem to be becoming a normal part of life. Habitat robberies at gun point, kick down a door and take all you can. That anyone is home seems a lesser than ever. In fact, it appears to encourage some types of perp.

The feeds today have several of these things, and FNC had a woman that was a victim of such. All on the interview seemed surprised at the act.

I’m not sure, but do believe the economy and the permissive manner of our national government helps fuel the wave of crime.

As feared, the new blog writer isn’t a friendly piece of coding. I’ve had to resort to the old Live Writer. The first bad thing that happened over there was that link above, WordPress wouldn’t allow me to paste it. Not as a link or as a copy/paste item. There might be some way, but it hasn’t revealed itself yet.

The Woodwind instrument has produced squawks and squeaks with some regularity. I’ve gotten to C below G and tried to enter the B. I’m having a love/hate relationship with a, B and the lower G.

Until I can go the scales without squawks I needn’t worry about finding the sharps and flats. Grump.

Two coyotes nose to nose with Dog this morning across the back fence. Unusual. The coyotes didn’t look rabid or mangy. Which is a good thing. I’m still not certain what the hell they were doing that close to the house – although they do use this edge of the pasture to cross through the culvert to the far side of the RR tracks.

I think, without going to  the Renters place, that the coyotes have a den in the bank of the RR somewhere in the wood that separate us.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
