One good thing about odd sleeping habits is the ability to pick up on some of the football games one misses while watching yet others.

The FSU/Florida game is usually a good game, but I’d watched Mich game and a couple of other rather than the FSU game. I got most of that game from the ESPN edited verison around Four A.M.. Decent game for the Florida defensive side. But then Florida has a class defense all year.

Speaking of defense:

Live grenade found at Goodwill in Winfield

WINFIELD, Kan. (KAKE) – A spokesperson says a live grenade was found among donated items at a Goodwill store in Winfield. Processors at the store at 1908 E. 9th Avenue discovered the grenade as they went through items that were part of a large

Be more careful Vets, there are few civilians with any knowledge out here anymore.

ESPN is hyping the pro games for the day. That’s a good thing. I’m a bit tired of watching FOX News broadcast re-run material at Two in the morning. Although it is entertaining to watch the networks re-shuffle the programing for the winter season.

Even Kenny Main has re-appeared on ESPN. I’m unsure where they’ve been storing him. His voice is the same, but he doesn’t act like the old Kenney.

Which reminds me of a thing. I hate the way ESPN reporters act smart ass with the efforts o the athletes and sarcastically belittle plays. Those reporters act as though they could do better.

It’s almost alright for the Ex-Jocks; they’ve been there, done that. But some of those journalistic wannabes are a bit much.

I was wondering how long it would take a deranged individual to attack Planned Parenthood. We’ve had our time with that stuff here in Kansas, what with the shootings of a couple of folks.

The dude in CO was more inventive than most of his ilk, what with the containers and all.

Hope few of those following aren’t that detail orientated.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
