Well, Friday 13th did its thing, in France, of all places.

Now whether the French decide to go from Afghan to Iraq is another thing. God knows they have the incentive to do so. Even though they have a foot hold in Algeria.

Mean while, here at home, idiots that want a day off and wish to watch others work appear to do things like:

Bomb threat leads to evacuation at Wichita Cessna facility

Update: The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said it has completed its search of a Wichita Cessna facility that received a bomb threat Friday morning.

It is really difficult, though we now accept its reality, that in this day and age, we are being pressured to wage a crusade.

We’ll only be able to do it if we accept that religion is real, and looking at the present college and religious climate in the US, I have doubts the belief and resolve are there.

The warriors are here, the commitment in belief isn’t. Without that the warriors are hamstrung.

If only we had a culture of Warrior Priests. Huh? Should I say it? Why not – like the other side has.

You know; a bible in one hand, an axe in the other and a fierce look on their faces rather than the pabulum of turn the other cheek and maybe they didn’t really mean to kill you sister during the rape.

Just a thought.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
