Monday Night Football to go.
A good weekend for football of various levels. Good College games, good Pro games; and then there was the Martinville NASCAR race. Laughter. Lagano got a pay back and his father went ballistic (as he is noted to do). Poor sod. It was kind of nice to see a dilberate pay back.
A no frills, straight forward “ram the sucker”. Shades of yesteryear. The stuff that actually made NASCAR popular, because emotions are raw and direct.
I’ve already said “Crow” for the Royals. Then they had to win the whole damn Series.

All in all, a very good weekend (for the winners, I know).
Renter paid up in-kind last evening also. He made a point of mentioning several times that the meat he was giving me was from the cleaning out of freezers of last years meat. They were cleaning out the freezers for this years butcher.
Such is life in the country. Farmers don’t necessarily like paying debts. Oh, they do. But usually at their own good time and in their own way, if one doesn’t mind skirting the unspoken ends of any deal.
They always find an out.
Like one told me: “There’s nothing to do sitting on a tractor but think.” You’d never know what goes through their minds, now, would you.
