Housekeepers day. She’s still hyped over Hubby’s new job. She related that he didn’t get a raise like all the other employee’s. His probation period isn’t over until the end of November.
Housekeeper said that just after the raise was announced Hubby was sitting in the office because it was raining, reading the news paper. The other folks caught him and asked him what he was doing reading the paper and Hubby told them he was looking for a new job.
They laughed at him and told him he was not suppose to do that at work.
She did tell me something that mildly upset me. She and a friend, a builder of split wood fishing poles, were at her home town lake, fishing. A man came up and told them they would have to move, they were in the man’s spot.
The builder of poles feared, during the conversation, that the man would become violent and called the local police.
The police came, the man sent away and the police explained to the builder that the intrusive man was a member of my home village council. The police did nothing to the intruder.
They should have jailed the turkey. Council member or no. Maybe just for that reason.
Sunny today. It should get hot, from the looks of it. We had some fog around 3AM, but that didn’t last long.
