I’m still waiting for rain. The wind has died down, the prognosticators are showing the rain climbing the front range of the Rocky’s. That is not good. At least to me.

There is good news in the lack of rain in KS, however:

Kan. record fall harvest brings unexpected challenges

But while the supply is way up, the demand is down, so there’s a major overflow in the state. Since the crop can’t all fit in the grain elevators, more than a million bushels are being stored outside, where they’re exposed to the elements.

Politics, politics and more politics. Foreign and Domestic. They are a mess. Almost as much a mess as American family politics.

Old folks want security.

Young  folks want to live in the security of the basement – not quite as much as they want the security of the basement along with the money that bought the basement.

The schools teach socialism is good, the young folks soak it up.

Half Congress curses entitlements; the other half support the educators.

I’ve noticed that The Trump has gotten a haircut. It looks like a professional, honest to God, real life, stylist has gotten a hold of him.

Shades of Clinton and his four hour, four hundred dollar haircut on AF One, sitting on the runway.

Here, however sad, The Trump is probably paying the landing fees and using his own aircraft.

Besides, it does make him look a great deal better, more politically correct, if you will.

Biden is not going to run, I think, and I’m listening to his Rose Garden speech. That means that fix is in and the House hearings are window dressing. Hillary now has a Presidential Pardon for all sins, foreign and domestic.

That means that dra-mama needs to keep his skirts clean because he’s been  to court and lost more than any administrator this country has ever had, I believe.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
