Cool, indeed.

Front moved through and ended summer, from the looks of it. That’s a good thing. At least from a snow lovers point of view.

Guess who’s coming to the area?

Donald Trump will visit Oklahoma State Fair

That’ll work. Although, if you will, my saying, tongue in cheek, we’ll see if Trump trumpets the Nations love him as well as Latinos.

Which reminds me: Bartlesville lost a HS Football player to a head injury last week. By lost I mean the lad died.

Listening to the tube spout knowledge, football knowledge. They are presently hung up on two QB’s; Manzel and Mariotta. They are giving the ex-Duck the quacks and the Texas fellow the raspberry’s.

Mostly because of the mechanics of the two men. One of Berman’s panel doesn’t believe Manzels elbow problems will ever go  away, which I agree is probably true, especially if they continue to force him to throw un-naturally. Meaning from the pocket and from the cocked and ready position the pro’s favor. No matter what, Manzel’s career will be shorter than if he could use the free flowing motion he is a natural with.

Very little about the Skins on the tube. They are giving Cousins a black and blue weekend, however. The opposition will play hell with the Skins frontline.

Which is true, sadly.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
