The day after.
The debate on FOX.
I watched both segments. Oddly there was a LOSER.
It wasn’t what she asked or said. It was the way she acted during and after. She has almost always seemed fair, if hard, and takes pride in asking hard question and rendering judgment, which was a mark of her early tenure on her program of the Kelly Files.
Recently she seems to be following the teachings of O’Reilly. A problem with that is she has appeared to becoming waspish, and viperish, rather than sharp and knowledgeable.
I would recommend to her she read a small segment of a Sci-Fi book. I cannot even remember the name of the book, but it is one of the Honor Harrington books.
The segment concerns Honor reflecting on a class from her plebe days at the Space Academy, and was called Command Presence.
The plebes filed into the class room to face a bare stage, empty, except for little old lady sitting in a chair on the otherwise empty stage.
The plebe class stared at the old woman and were bored. And slowly the old woman transformed into the standing figure of the Fleet Admiral. And, also slowly, the class lost its boredom and stood to attention; at which point the Admiral left the stage.
Not a word spoken.
The demonstration of Command Presence complete.
Strangely, Megan had a touch of that ability when she first started her Star Position and has lost it.
I can only see distrust and declining guests for her program – especially in visw of her actions with Jeb Bush and Trump, where she bragged and took victory laps on air after “sticking it to the Man” in controlled interviews where the man was and is at a dis-advantage.
Were it I, I would not participate in any interview with her voluntarily.
