Gray day. Rain and misty rain, washing the burning smoke from the air. Good stuff.

And have you heard of it? I mean, the government actually treating adults as adults? Darnedest thing ever:

This past week Kansas became the sixth state to align itself with something called the Constitutional Carry Movement which interprets the 2nd Amendment to mean that anyone can carry a concealed weapon without having to undergo any kind of licensing requirement at all.

The person that wrote the article went on to express the Liberal point of view th-t all guns are as bad as the people that even think guns.

An amazing thing. Look at the paper work the government no longer has to track, create, and otherwise be responsible for, uh, baring the errors in the system and stuff.

The first person that mis-uses a weapon, will of course, be judged by most every one in the State and the weeping will arise anew.

Learned somewhat today; the only place I could find that sold six, and six and a half T poles also had some eight footer – which suited my purpose far better. I didn’t know they made poles that large. I picked up four of the eights.

The need is I’m spanning two creek  bottoms and making water fences through them. For the folks that don’t know, the fence is designed to wash away in flooding times while keeping the expenses down and the cattle in during good times.

I also found some pins for the equipment attachment points.

All in all a good morning, if wet and  a hundred sixty miles long.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
