I can buy into that.
The true answer is probably more complicated than that, but, hey, it’s on the correct flight path to truth.
I caught an article – reading the court house news – that contained a name I recognized. I recognize many names in that column truthfully, but this one was imminently know to me. Upon reading the name I thought the apple never falls far from the tree, even if the apple takes a while to be seen for what it is among the weeds of the field.
It’s difficult to wish anyone bad luck, contrary to yesterdays rant about my fence, however, the named person should continue his path. His true nature needs light, even though a smiling con man is preferable to a sneaky little thief.
Local elections coming up the first week of April. One of the city council candidates is a newbe in the village (notice how hard it is for me to call his place a city?). Given that I don’t know the man, I suppose I’ll have to vote for him. He’s running against no one. The council has seven slots and half the board is up for elections every four years. This off year is none of the names I dislike are up for re-election so I think I’ll have to load the seat with the unknown and pray he doesn’t really vote like the dudes I dislike.
The Mayor is up for election this time around, also. He’s running for his fourth term. I kind of hope he has some opposition – although the last paper report on the ballots didn’t indicate that he is opposed.
Until tomorrow . . .
