WAS  13-24  Final  NYG

While I didn’t think that WAS would win the game with McCoy, I did feel that they would be closer than eleven points. Somewhat confused, I left the FOX game and checked the Skins line scores and summaries where I discovered that McCoy left the game after the very first offensive series for WAS.

Which pretty well explained the low score for WAS. RGIII seldom gets more than twenty points, McCoy somewhat higher. Disappointing to say the least.

Dallas played the first half lights out, the 3rd quarter like Dallas, and the fourth very well. And Goodman Romo actually lasted the complete game. Still, the job got done in spite of my druthers – which is a regional thing as much as anything for me. You know, any team playing Dallas is my favorite team for the day.

SD is a semi-favorite, I love to watch them play K.C. Denver was never a thing on my radar with Elway, but since Manning cam along I’ve been catching all their games I can on the telly. I haven’t gone so far as paying extra for a service that would bring me all their games from wherever.

The play-off pictures haven’t clarified all that well, but I was surprised at Buffalo’s win.

While thinking about Buffalo, I admit to being curious as to their name and found that they were indeed named after Buffalo Bill Cody.

Only the NFL.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
