It could, I suppose, be classified as a case of domestic violence. Or, maybe, the case of the worlds fastest mountain bikes:

WICHITA, Kan. –

Fire investigators are searching for suspects accused of intentionally setting several fires at a northeast Wichita apartment complex.

Firefighters were called to Willow Creek Apartments, 5700 E. Mainsgate, around 2:25 a.m. Sunday. A 26-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man called 911 after finding their mountain bike on fire on the balcony. The fire spread to the outer wall of the apartment complex, police said.

Limited property was also damaged after other fires were reported in the area about 20 minutes earlier. No one was hurt.

A second thought might make it. Some apartments have 1st floor balconies

No second thoughts on the NFL. They have people problems. I still think they should allow the legal system take care of the investigation and punishment and then allow the behavior clauses of the employment contracts be enforced by the teams with some NFL oversight.

Sorry about missing yesterday. Was doing volunteer avoidance of extracurricular work.   Just, let’s say, making my self disappear.

I’ve been getting fewer and fewer political calls. That’s a good thing. The more persistent one is the Right to Life people. They don’t hesitate to call at weird hours – like midnight or seven in the morning. Makes a fellow think the morning after pill and condoms are a wonderful invention.

Which they really are.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
