Which explains why one large and two small such were putz-ing about the newly mown lawns last night. But doesn’t totally explains why, well after sun rise, one small little fellow emerged from beneath the tractor and staggered his half drunken walk across the lot and disappeared into the near neighbors junk pile.
Nor, I’ll point out, why dog wanted some of that skunkly motivated steak.
A very good case for being happy dogs can’t talk and understand – can one feature enplaning skunks to a dog. If I really wanted to explain to him I’d just turn him loose when he carries on about them.
