So tell me true, does one believe a government can run a health care system – even given the VA is not really a health care system and the dra-mama care is not really a health care system as much as an insurance money making scheme, called a tax.

But still, tell me true, can they?

And then there is the election mis-direction ploy; fire a VA Chief and avoid Benghazi, and the scandal election stuff.

Even FOX New drifts into never never land of the VA ‘Scandal’. Hey. The VA has been a cess pool for years. Throwing money at it won’t help it. Basically, it has been a repository of “when all else fails, including my patience, turn to the VA” for many, many veterans that didn’t stay the twenty but still want the bennies they remember from their three year draft or four year service to avoid the draft.

Something for nothing.

The bargain wasn’t health care for life for the short service. The nation might not really need give it either. That said, it certain has created that care in the VA, so should do it correctly or eliminate it totally, or even give vouchers for civilian care to a short termer forty years after he might have served.

As well look at the patients as the service. Maybe modify that living on the dole crying pity should run its course.

Especially for Democrats, liberals.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
