All the trees we spent so much time carrying water for two years ago are doing well. And add their flavor to the place. I discovered that the supplier of the trees, a relative of one of the Kock;s, didn’t survive the depression. this latest round of it anyhow.
He went bust.

(I’ll not mention he promised to replace any that died in the first three years on top of everything else.)
Renter asked me yesterday if I was ready for the mail box pole to be delivered. He wanted to know what size I wanted. I told him that if I used a four by four it wouldn’t stop a pick0up running over it and this morning he delivered an eight foot rail road tie.
