This past week has been full of fuss and bother.
Renter has acquired two of his proposed calves and still has dibs on the grass. I’ve come close to calling off the deal but do miss the calves around.

A coyote has been teasing the dog. Poor dog. I went out yesterday morning and the dog was staring off into distances known only to dogs. Across the four and ahalf foot fence sat a coyote, tongue hanging out, laughing, I think, at poor dog. Dog was doing his best to ignore the bore in the weeds like and neither paid me much mind, nor would they give up their relative positions until I chuck a last years walnut at the coyote.
If you’ve spent much time around animals, you know how much bullying they can do when they have a situation figured out.
