If one has been looking the other way, pretending all is well between electors and elected, and over looked a drinking congress person pushing a citizen about on the capitol walkways after an extended lunch, then assuming the presidents actions of dividing to conquer is simply a political ploy, the one must concede that:
WASHINGTON — New York Rep. Michael Grimm is defending his actions after he physically threatened a reporter at the Capitol after President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.
The confrontation began Tuesday when Michael Scotto, a reporter for New York cable news station NY1, asked Grimm about a Justice Department investigation into his campaign finances.
After cutting the interview short, Grimm told Scotto, “You ever do that to me again I’ll throw you off this (expletive) balcony.” He also threatened to “break (Scotto) in half.”

Welcome to New York and Chicago politics, and watching CA, AZ (McCain), NV (Reed) and now CO, I am forced to think that it is Congress as much as party.0
No wonder the Tea Party is attacked. They are grass roots and real emotion and attention to politics is an un-welcome thing from the electorate.
