The year progresses, and winds down. It’s been an interesting year. I’ve found excellence where I didn’t really expect to find it and questionable behavior in the same manner.
Makes life interesting.
Vickie the third (and that is a story I apologize for not completing. I hadn’t realized I’d been remiss in that until it was brought to my attention) will get her boyfriend back from the hospital this week.
I’d mentioned an accident in a prior post and associated it with an oil field workers death on the same curves. I hadn’t any idea that the more recent accident involved Vicky’s friend.
Perhaps in the future I’ll re-visit that incident and complete the story.
Mean time; I’ve gone into my winter mode and have ordered several books for the Kindle Reader. So many, in fact, that I’m seriously considering the purchase of the stand alone Kindle rather than the PC software they offer.
I’m still debating that nonsense. Heh. Which super-duper, can’t live without, offers have I been receiving – from Amazon and MS. Sometimes Retailers remind me of my dog, they work on me until they get their way whether it’s being an automatic door opener or a purchaser.
Enough to give a fellow an anxiety attack.
The point, I suppose, of mentioning the books was to point out a recent new author. One Christopher G. Nutthall. I started reading his Realty Check, The Empire’s Corps VII.
In it he takes on the educational system of a future and the affects of the current educational system outlook.
My particular copies of the Kindle book contains bookmarks of another volume reader. I’m fascinated to observe that the persons thoughts of important scripting by the author are not mine. Some, to be sure, but not all, and those with which I disagree, or find of little insight are making the reading more interesting.
