Soros has been reported to have given 45mm dollars over the last decade to seeing that Liberal Judges make the bench – the reason given was the resistance to passing liberal legislation, so they (Soros groups) gave lawyers money to assist judgeships to legislate from the bench.

The group denies the charges. They said they haven’t given that much money for that cause – which prompts me to surmise the judge candidates are a cheap bunch of sell outs and typically lawyer-ish.

Ahem; a bird in hand . . cheap money is still money.

I opened the day writing a bazillion words to share; then fed cattle; then began to write again – I’m positively verbose this morning; I was sharing my cool morning with dog puppy.

He planted his foot square in the middle of the key board and I’m reduced to a shade of myself. Words gone, thoughts fragmented, pictures destroyed and a ‘safe’ re-start. Dog puppy is sharing his morning with the walnut tree, talking with the coyotes.

Bits and pieces, then:

* Starting Friday, cities like Lawrence will be forced to lower their seat-belt fines to a level that will be easy for many motorists to ignore. (Google Feed of Kansas News snippets)

* The summer months are a time when families enjoy doing a variety of activities outdoors; however, it’s also when barbecue grills and fireworks cause devastating residential fires and serious injuries to children.  (Google Feed of Kansas News snippets)

* WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts shutout the El Paso Diablos 10-0 at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Monday night. Wingnuts’ starter Junior Guerra tossed eight innings of two-hit shutout ball to earn his second win of the year.(Google Feed of Kansas News snippets)

* By Tim Hrenchir The Topeka City Council, which initially planned to pick an interim city manager from between two candidates Monday evening, chose not to do so amid concerns about circumstances in which both were fired from past jobs. (Google Feed of Kansas News snippets)

AS YOU can see, government mixed into our lives, wingnuts and devils mixed with politics and government inaction – in action.

Then I dipped the toe in pure politics, again:

Gov. Sam Brownback announces $3.6 million in crime-reduction grants

Dodge City Daily Globe – ‎9 hours ago‎

By Anonymous Gov. Sam Brownback announced Monday the grant recipients of the 2012 Federal Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant program.

Which is just about the money he took from the State Arts programs. We have a Soros Liberal set of Lawyers here in Kansas and most cases are decided among Lawyers before arriving at trial.

About tenwhiskey

User tenwhiskey is also the author of this blog. He currently lives in small town Kansas in a semi-retired condition. His kids are married and gone (thank you). An empty nester. Divorced. Very happy with life as it is. Ten Mile maintains a personal blog here, writing of events as they appear to him; commentary, and opinions abound. He deviates into fiction as the mood strikes and creates flash fiction stories and short stories. He will not warn the reader when he drifts from fact to fiction. He feels adults are, generally, smart enough to figure out which is which. He does, however, attempt to make his fiction sound as true to life as possible. You have been warned. He, as time permits, writes and occasionally sells writing. More often than not he gives it away to various non-paying publishers of Ether Magazines, forums or for entertainment on a wall for in need of a hand friends. He likes candy, pies and a certain amount of strife. In the matter of strife - in his yourth on the farm, he became embroiled in a slinging fight. The fight involved lath as a launcher, fresh cow patties as ammo and it was a six way free for all. A little mud only adds (Umm?) a certain taste to life.
